Petition the White House to cease the Federal Government Agency hiring official from using Time –in-Grade (TIG) requirement as a precondition of employment in its hiring process; on the contrary, applicants precondition for employment should be based solely on their specialized experience. TIG regulation is an awful rule because it discriminates against highly qualified, highly capable and highly productive candidates based on an arbitrary period.
Eliminating TIG requirement will allow the Federal government to retain competent, capable and qualified employees. This change in regulation will also eliminate the possibilities of abuse. The elimination of TIG will allow status candidates the ability to apply for higher graded positions based on experience.
