The inaugural celebration cost roughly 150 million dollars. A large part paid by the tax payer. Second term presidents should not receive this celebration. The Inaugural celebrations include, 45 million in inaugural ball parties, 3.5 million to cover the construction of the platform in front of the White House,1.5 million dollars for police, 15 million for secret service and military. Lets not forget the cost for concerts, food, transportation, garbage cleanup, recycling, port-a-potties,parades, decorations, the 10 Broadcast screens, plus all the cost I have I have missed. Some money for this event comes from private donations but the fact is there is still a huge cost to the taxpayers. During Obama's re-election he said he will end the "Business as usual" in Washington. Let's start here!
