Discontinue military sport sponsorships

Created by D.B. on March 10, 2013

The Defense Bill for FY13 includes over $70 million from military spending continue to be used for sports sponsorships. All branches, except the Air Force, have already discontinued sponsoring NASCAR. So why do they still need all that money? There are already job losses, aircraft losses, and training reductions, etc. The money set aside for sport sponsorships should go for something better!

That could keep more troops active duty or buy fuel for aircraft carrying cargo, passengers, etc. This is a complete waste of tax payers money!
