Unfortunately, our inner city youth have been greatly disadvantaged by the mis-education and mis-representation in regards to meeting their academic needs. Our current public school systems are setting up our youth for failure, removing much needed programs and courses that are needed for overall shaping and building of young minds. We are no longer investing in our youth, and their quality of life. Lack of funding should not be considered an option to use as an excuse for failing our youth. Not just teaching them to pass standardized test should be acceptable either.
