Discontinue referring to semi-automatic rifles as "assault weapons" and "weapons of war"

Gun control activists like to create negative and scary labels to sway public opinion. Labels are powerful and emotional, especially when used daily in mass media. Just as illegal immigrants changed to undocumented workers and now migrant workers. Semi-automatic rifles are not automatic rifles (machine guns), assault rifles or weapons of war. A frying pan in the hand of a displeased woman is an assault weapon! Perhaps the government shouldn't allow us to own three frying pans because you only have two arms and hands. Why should anyone need more? Come on! Lets get real and call it what it is, not attach emotion to an object that is used over 99 percent of the time legally and responsibly.
