The Trans Pacific Partnership is a secret trade agreement currently being fast tracked to be passed by the end of 2013. This agreement is so secretive that Obama will not allow Congress to look at the draft. Those who are allowed to see it are large corporations. This bill has been called the son of SOPA, or even SOPA on steroids. From what has been leaked about the TPP it will violate our internet privacy laws (allowing the internet to be policed), rollback regulations on big bankers (which were created post 2008 financial collapse), offshore American jobs, it will deregulate our food system allowing unsafe food to be imported from other countries, it allows companies to sue if a law or policy deters them from making profits, etc. The TPP needs to be stopped to ensure America's future.
