discontinue the use of the archaic electoral college. With advances in technology it is now unnecessary and unjust.

Created by C.M. on November 15, 2012

In this day and age of open worldwide instant communication, computers and technology the electoral college has outlived is usefullness. Our forefathers did not envision a world such as ours where information could be gleaned instantly. So the electoral college served them well in those days. However, the electoral college is subject to corruption, and does not always give a true picture of the voices of the people. As a democracy I believe it's important that EVERY individual's voice is heard. I don't want my vote lost in the electoral college.
