An election based exclusively on the popular vote would allow all voters in all states a true voice in their vote. The people should have the final say in who is elected and under the current system we do not see that. If the Electoral College was no longer used we would see an increase in voters making it to the polls. Many voters in red/blue states don't vote simply because they are voting for someone that will lose their state and see their vote as pointless. With an election using only the popular vote we will all have our say in the election and more voices will be heard.
