discontinue the use of US Soccer's current crest and mandate that the "Centennial Crest" be worn beginning June 16, 2014

This petition implores the current administration to take executive action in demanding that the United States Soccer Federation discontinue the use of its current crest that represents a soccer ball, followed by action lines, accompanied by three nautical stars and blue and white stripes. To replace this crest that has served to misrepresent the dignity of the American people in international athletic competition, we implore the administration to push actions to permanently reinstate the "Centennial Crest" that was worn during the 2013 calendar year to commemorate 100 years of USSF. We, the People, believe that the "Centennial Crest" serves to best represent the American People, and the USSF in the international and sporting communities through its bold and powerful look.
