As it has become clear that any idiot with an email address can set up a petition, and any media organization can then broadcast and advertise said idiot's petition no matter how inane or ridiculous it is, and then any other idiot can sign said idiot's petition and then share said idiot's petition on social media site, intermixed in newsfeeds with pet pictures and fast food ads, the right of the people to keep stupidity out of the public eye should not be infringed. For this reason, this petition website should be shut down.
