BREAKING BAD depicts the manufacture, distribution, and use of the illicit drug METH. TOYS ‘R’ US, AMAZON.COM and other retailers sell BREAKING BAD action figures, which come with toy gas mask or toy bag-of-METH. TOYS ‘R’ US defends its sale of said figures because they are in the “adult section” and the packaging includes a “15 and Up” label. METH is a horrible, life destroying drug. Its sale as a toy is unacceptable. 15 is too young of an age to collect such a toy. This petition asks that the White House STRONGLY encourage Toys ‘R’ Us to discontinue sale of the product and swiftly act to pass legislation declaring that sales of toy versions of illicit substances be restricted to adults of 18+ years with a valid I.D.
