This petition is important to me because I have an 8 year old daughter that has locs. My daughter has had locs since the age of 5 years old and is very proud and happy to have them. This law is violation of my constitutional rights. I thought this was a country where individuals are free to be themselves express their culture their identity thats what makes it a beautiful melting pot. As an American I have freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, freedom of the press, but I cant wear my hair locs because its associated with my culture ? What's next telling Jews they cannt wear there there long curls (peyot )on the sides of their head ? Because that is directly associated with Jews. When will the discrimination end. I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN AND THIS IS A DISGRACE !
