In California it has become increasingly more difficult to find a job that doesn't require or prefer you to be bilingual in Spanish. These jobs range from burger flipping to automotive repair to being a teller at a bank. If fluent English is a requirement for citizenship and English as a Second Language gets 90 units, so seven semesters of full time schooling, without counting towards the 120 units you get from California's school grant money then why do I have to learn Spanish to make minimum wage? Why can businesses "prefer" Bilingual when they really mean require? Also Americans are little better than slaves in the private market as minimum wage earners so since the majority of jobs being created are minimum wage jobs how do you plan to address this issue of legal slavery?
