Custodians cre or they wouldnt hold those positions. Most custodians are highly skilled. Custodial workers are ever-present at school events both during and after school hours. They are familiar with who is normally present. They are not directly responsible for the care of students in the way classroom teachers are. This is an opportunity for veterans and retired law enforcement. Custodians often move unnoticed throughout schools and know every
access and byway. One armed protector is preferred to many, especially with proper training vs. Only passing concealed carry. Of course proper backround vesting and special training should b required. I also think proper compensation should be added to their salaries. Thank you for your time.
