We the people would like for our Congress to be a more representative voice of the people. In so establishing such a Congress, we request that the current Congress be withheld to the same standards as its represented public.

These standards include, and are not limited to:

1. No Senator may have more than one six-year term, nor representative have more than two two-year terms.

2. No compensations shall be given after the limit of terms has been attained, provided the member was properly compensated during his or her term. All or part of these compensations must be a taxable salary, with all taxation of law from the District of Columbia. Such compensations include, and are not limited to tenure, pension, insurance, salary, bonuses.
