Prisoners in Texas are going on strike against prison slave labor - which in Texas and the south generally often involves agricultural work, and may in some cases actually consist of picking cotton.

I imagine that these prisoners will be retaliated against in extreme, law bending if not law breaking ways. Please ask the Justice Department to take pre-emptive action to protect these prisoners from rough justice and unlawful retribution at the hands of prison guards. At least mention the strike in a speech and acknowledge that it is going on.
