Dishonorably discharge former U.S. Defense Attache in Nairobi, David McNevin, for ivory smuggling (1000s of lbs.).

Created by M.E. on July 24, 2013

Former U.S. Defense Attache to Nairobi, David McNevin, was convicted of smuggling thousands of pounds worth of ivory, just hours after President Obama pledged to fight a crisis in illegal wildlife trafficking. His punishment? Only about USD $300 (KSh 30,000). The man has disgraced our country, his uniform, and himself. We request the President dishonorably discharge him from the United States Army.
