President Obama has invited Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the so-called Prime Minister of Ukraine's coup government, to the White House on March 12, 2014. This recognition of Ukraine's Maidan coup is a violation of international norms and a dangerous step toward a direct confrontation with Russia.
As Vladimir Putin has pointed out, Ukraine's Constitutional Court was disbanded and President Yanukovych was not removed through any legal procedure - and is therefore the legitimate president of Ukraine.
There is nothing in Ukraine of direct interest to the American people, certainly nothing worthy of an American GI, tax dollar or possible nuclear war. President Obama, revoke your invitation to Yatseniuk and deny him entry to the US so this crisis can be resolved by Ukraine's elected representatives.
