At one point the bipartisan system was an organizational tool for our government and its workings, but now it represents more of a division. I propose a complete dismantlement of the bit artisan system so that all legislation can be completely and utterly unbiased. Much like the ideal version of our judicial branch, unbiased decision making should be mandatory for all branches of the government, although this is not the case. It is quite apparent that the decision making is vastly decided upon party lines, which is extremely inefficient for getting any solutions to issues. All members voting on legislation should be free of any party ties and should not require party backing in order to succeed.
Vote for policies, not parties.
