The Electoral College decreases emphasis on the populous vote, eliminates third party contenders and encourages questionable campaigning strategies. Once the Electoral College is dismantled, the populous vote will take its place. Presidential candidate with the majority of votes (greater than 50%) will assume office. Once the Electoral College is dismantled third party contenders will be given ample representation, individual votes will gain significance and campaigns will be forced to broaden their focus to all Americans.
