The industrial military complex is responsible for a great deal of our technology, but this technology is gained by finding better, and more effective ways of killing human beings, and results in us being hated by many people all over the world. If we used our money for space exploration we would gain the same amount of technology, if not more. It would change peoples opinions about the United States. It would cause people to look at us with wonder, and amazement, and not resentment, and hatred. We could accomplish this by slowly cutting the defense budget, and applying these cuts to the NASA budget. I'm tired of my tax dollars being used to kill people with.
