The National Security Agency (NSA) has gone rogue. It has become vastly too large, powerful and unaccountable to the constitutional laws by which this country is founded. Each US citizen is a suspect in the ever-expanding secret dragnet. But this does not make us safer. By spying on the rest of the world the NSA is also doing serious damage to the international reputation of the United States, making it more difficult and dangerous to be a global citizen and jeopardizing the future of major US technology companies in the global marketplace. Like a parasite providing no benefits yet consuming huge amounts of US taxpayer resources, the NSA threatens the welfare of its host. However, We created the Agency and We can decide to destroy it. The time to do so is now.
