Dismantle the TSA and restore transportation security to the private sector and regulate it at the federal level.

Created by F.B. on October 31, 2011

The TSA has proven time and again that it is unable to meet its most basic commitment of transportation security. Not a single attack has been stopped by the TSA (all attacks foiled by passengers since 9/11), and in tests of TSA security, it regularly fails to catch contraband being brought through security. With untold billions spent and no results, it is time to return transportation infrastructure back to the private sector, with federal regulation. No system can be perfectly secure, and the private sector will have its failures too; however, as the only player afield, a single monolithic entity is never able in to keep its skills and tools sharp. A lean, efficient, and effective solution can only come from through competition and the private sector.
