The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as we know it is an anachronism, and should be dismantled. It was created to provide medical care for veterans at a time when adequate medical care for veterans simply wasn’t available in many parts of the USA. That situation no longer exists, yet the monster that was created to address it lives on, bloated, top-heavy and unmanageable. Resignations won't fix it, but abolishing it will. Roll all Vets into a Veterans Medicare program. It will boost the economy by providing more patients to the private medical and drug industry and give Vets the care they need in a timely manner. End the abuse, waste and corruption now. Do what you were elected to do; serve the people.
