It is no secret that our dear forefathers could not tell how their laws and regulations would turn out nearly 300 years down the road, and that is why they built a government infrastructure subject to change when it is felt that it is needed.
This petition seeks to completely dismantle the dysfunctional and corrupt electoral collage which effectivly cancels out the american publics "popular vote" through a very complex and completely unnecessary process which is subject to gerrymandering, corporate/political party sponsorship, and corruption. And have elections decided through the popular vote system.
If our forefathers would have seen that their broken electoral college system would have effectively caused "taxation without representation", it would have been fixed immediately.
