The Senate and House of Representatives are comprised of individuals who are no longer representing the good of the People. Instead, they are mired in gridlock, bi-partisanship and their own self interests. The representatives have not passed a budget in several years, falling on stall tactics and stop gap measures. This failure is the direct result of the embedded leadership that bypasses the election process and needs to be eliminated.
Repeal the 17th amendment and give representation back to the states where the representatives can be held accountable at a local level.
