Dismiss all petitions attempting to ratify seccession of over 30 States due to election results.

Due to the recent re-election of President Obama, many people in many states have begun to sign petitions in an attempt to have their state secede from the Union and form their own country. Many think that this is the best choice of action for their state but I ask them, have they thought of the long term consequences of seceding? The economic turmoil it would cause for the states in question, as well as the remaining United States would be disastrous. Also, if 30+ States really do manage to secede, what would be left, but an even more broken and shattered nation the would wither and die with the loss of its majority. Cleary, secession is a terrible idea, and a dangerous one, and for those who think otherwise, open your eyes and see the potential danger that secession poses.
