Although legal proceedings have concluded there is no reason for a General who admitted to mistreating his subordinate to maintain his command and grade. His actions, including maltreatment of his main accuser, a female captain under his command, and using a government-issued credit card for personal use, would be grounds for the dismissal of most government employees.
As a General one's primary function is to lead troops, however Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair has admitted to lacking the essential moral fiber to carryout this function. His commission should therefore be terminated, and his grade reduced.
