This petition seeks the removal of Chuck Rosenberg from his post at the DEA. His remarks calling medicinal marijuana a "joke" demonstrate his antiquated thinking on the issue, his ignorance of its palliative effects, particularly for those undergoing chemo therapy, and his disregard for the thousands of spouses, parents and grandparents that use the drug to stimulate appetites or alleviate pain who's suffering he's so flippantly dismissive of. As a high ranking national law enforcement official Mr. Rosenberg's remarks also display a base disrespect for the federal system on which our government is premised and belittle the judgments of the people of 23 states of the Union who have seen fit to protect medicinal cannabis under their laws, rendering Mr. Rosenberg unfit to hold his position.
