Given the tone of the response, penned by TSA Administrator Pistole, to the petition to abolish TSA it is clear that TSA management is no longer in touch with the concerns and interests of travelers as voiced by those travelers. It seems instead that Pistole, in his role as TSA Administrator, has fabricated a set of "concerns" that he and the agency have decided are what travelers really want and has been working to "address" these instead, ignoring outright the voice of the people.
It is for this reason that we, the undersigned, believe John Pistole should be dismissed from his position as TSA administrator, barred henceforth from working in any Homeland Security-related role, and his replacement be thoroughly vetted to ensure their ability to heed the voice of the American public.
