The Obama administration is currently assessing the benefits of allowing the Keystone XL tar sand pipeline to transport tar from Canadian Tarsands to the gulf coast. Noting that this is an environmentally dangerous substance that has already caused irreversible harm to American communities. Also Noting that the pipeline does serious enviromental harm and carries no benefit for America.
