Aaron Swartz has been doggedly pursued by Carmen Ortiz's office for downloading academic journal articles. She carried on even after the alleged victims in this case, JSTOR and MIT, decided not to pursue a case against him. She equated Aaron's activities with those of someone who uses a crowbar to steal money. She has shown poor judgment in pursuing this case to its bitter end and does not represent the kind of leadership we need in the US DOJ.
We request that she be dismissed from US DOJ immediately.
