We petition the President of the United States of America to ask the national Democratic Party to cease all activities in the City of Chicago, disown all local affiliates and ban all current and former aldermen. Currently, all 50 aldermen belong to the same party and this has been the norm for longer than most Chicagoans can remember. Consequently, aldermen do not stand up for their residents, 77 of 118 Illinois state representatives run unopposed, and the national Democratic Party accepts an unfair advantage in national politics. Residents embrace this injustice and the media does not challenge it. If Chicago were a country, then it would not qualify to be part of NATO. Please establish your presidential library in a community that is democratic, not Democratic.
