Display a gold ribbon and or light the White House gold in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Created by A.S. on December 17, 2013

Dear Mr. President,
Please display a gold ribbon and or light the White House gold in September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Childhood cancer is the number one killer by disease of our nation’s children. Seven children die each day in our country from cancer and another thirty six are newly diagnosed. Childhood cancer kills more children than AIDS, asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and congenital anomalies combined. A display of gold on the White House in September will demonstrate to the tens of thousands of children currently undergoing treatments and the many thousands of families who have lost children to cancer that you consider the elimination of childhood cancer to be a national priority.
