We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Disqualify North Korea from UN Membership

Created by B.D. on September 30, 2016

The UN aim to maintain international peace, promote human rights and prevent and remove threats to the peace as stated in Article 1 of the UN Charter. N. Korea, however, has been in violation of the purposes by engaging in nuclear and missile development, causing a serious threat to the world peace. N. Korea is trampling on human rights of its people by driving them to starvation and death and is also sending workers abroad for forced labor. N. Korea further conducted its fifth nuclear test, even threatening the security of the United States. Such reckless acts of N. Korea are significantly undermining the credibility and authority of the UN.

Thus, we, together with the people around world who pursue peace, strongly call for the disqualification of N. Korea from UN membership.
