The recent overtures from Puerto Rico asking for a spot in the union are wrong for the U.S. taxpayers. This is an island where most live in abject poverty, the elite have created a grey market bleeding the entire populous and the corruption in its government is complete. We the People can not afford to take this broken, backwater, third world island into its union.
