When in the Course of human events, it becomes apparent that one small sect of people wish to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to asume the powers of the earth despite the masses which disagree with them, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that the masses should declare the causes which impel them to prevent the separation.
We find these truths to be self evident that the United States of America should remain a unified country, with all fifty states within it remaining. While a response to the multiple petitions may be warranted, their request should not be considered in any seriousness.
