Despite winning their respective parties' nominations, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the least liked presidential candidates in history. The vast majority of the American people, given a choice, would prefer that neither be elected president. Given the lack of quality choices, and in order to elect a candidate who truly brings people together and is not so divisive, we propose that the results of the November 8, 2016 election be ignored, that new candidates be identified and that a new election be held. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will not be eligible to run in this new election. The new election may even use new voting techniques such as multiple candidates per party, and the ability to rank votes for multiple candidates.
