Politicians owning stock is the root of most problems today. They’re not going to do what’s right by WE THE PEOPLE if it’s directly affects their bank accounts. For example if 59% of the house owns stock in Monsanto, why would they pass law directly hurting Monsanto when it will directly affect them, even though the law is what’s best for the people?

his is why we the undersigned demand that a law be placed on the books requiring all new politicians to dump their stocks before taking a public seat representing the people. This law should disallow all politicians from the local city government all the way to the white house from owning stock.
