While repealing gun laws or banning assault weapons in our legal system may seem to be the solution, they are not. Criminals will always find a way to obtain their firearms and then the innocent are left with nothing to defend themselves with. Instead, more strict regulations and restrictions should be placed on ammunition. Criminals can obtain their firearms, but they will think twice about purchasing ammunition. Heavier taxes and/or prices can be placed on ammunition. Also, it should not be so simple to purchase from gun stores and the like.
