Created by N.M. on May 07, 2013

In the 21st century people all over the world now have the power to stay up to date on current events, find infinite information about any subject and share and discuss this information making Congress obsolete in the sense of having them make decisions for the people. Congress has become to corrupted by corporations, lobbyists and insider trading to to be trusted with making decisions on our behalf. Dissolving Congress and allowing a direct democracy will allow the people of the United States to vote directly on issues such as healthcare, crime statutes, foreign aid, taxation and recreational drug use. Keeping the bill of rights and numerous laws in place that protect people against discrimination will make sure that laws passed by the people will not violate their rights as citizens.
