As we quickly approach the presidential vote of 2016 it has come to my attention that the decision of who wins the election is not made by the citizens of the United States but is instead delegated to the electoral collage. There are many issues with the electoral collage but the main one is that the winner of the popular vote isn't necessarily the winner of the electoral collage vote. This means a few elite can make someone president even if the majority of america doesn't want that person leading them. This has even happened before in 2000, 1888, 1876, and 1824. This is absolutely disgusting. The president should be elected by popular vote and the electoral collage should only be used in the event of an unbreakable tie if at all.
