After the 2016 election this is the fifth time that a president has been elected despite losing the popular vote. This is a broken system that should be done away with.
Also a popular vote system will not make candidates only campaign in major cities as the top ten most populated cities in America add up to about 17% of the total vote. No candidate can win with only 17% of the vote.
We need to make everyone have an equal vote which can be resolved by a simple solution, get rid of the electoral college
