Dissolve the Federal Department of Education and permanently abolish Federal involvement in educational decision making. Billions of taxpayer dollars are wasted every day by this "do nothing" beauraucratic Federal bohemoth and it is time to end it. Education is a local, familial, and personal issue and decisions regarding the education of our children and ourselves are best left to parents, local/regional school districts, and us..free American citizens.
