In this petition, I am offering the American people a chance to prosper again. Was it not Thomas Jefferson who said that every generation requires a revolution? In an attempt to keep the government updated to the ever changing adaptations that society undergoes, I am pleading for the dissolving of a political system that is corrupt, not only in the sense of economics, but also on the homefront. 1 in 7 Americans approve of congress, this is a blasphemy. The foundations of the early United States government was based off of the philophes, and a major character in that movement was John Locke, who stated under the Social Contract theory; "Government rules under the consent of the people".
Essentially; we, the people, do not need to be treated with such scrutiny. We have the power, fellow men
