Mr. President for far too long We the People have been forced to work less than 40 hours a week because employers do not even want to touch a half of a second worth of pay into overtime. This creates a system in which people are required to work two jobs, which is almost impossible for most Americans due to scheduling constraints. I propose that we dissolve Federal Overtime laws, let's create a new bill that will allow Americans to opt out of Overtime pay but not not require that they work more than 40. Prevent from scheduling Employees more than 40 hours, but allow them to work past that if they choose to for the same hourly wage they already make.
We need to be able to buy our groceries and not depend on Food Stamps and federal welfare.
