Citizens have an unbridgeable right to privacy, free speech, and due process. Congress, the Administration, and the intelligence community have leveraged Politics, Sensationalism, and a host of technical legalisms to contrive an intelligence regime that, in aggregate, are definitive and permanent abrogations of the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments of the Constitution.
The Signatories of that Constitution would not have condoned nor tolerated such a condition as the post 911 Government has produced. The Amelioration of that document and the principles of American democracy require the full capitulation of the intelligence community, the restoration of Judicial review by the civilian Court system, and the segregation of intelligence activities to the respective Agencies.
