This petition seeks to distinguish between traditional/ biblical marriage and gay marriage, in the wake of the defeat of the Defense of Marriage Act, so that religious organizations/churches who support traditional/biblical marriage, and do not support gay marriage, are able to continue to exercise and teach their religious beliefs concerning marriage, without Federal, State or Local government prejudice, and continue to do so in accordance with the First Amendment which includes the right to freedom of religion, and freedom of speech for all Americans.
