All contibutions made to candidates running for public office by individuals, corporations etc, at any level of government, will have 20% of the funds diverted to the general budget of the municipality where the election occurs. For example, candidates running for a town office will have 20% of their contributions diverted to the budet of the town for whose office they are running. Any candidate for a state position will have 20% of his contributions diverted to the general fund for that state. In the case of federal elections, all candidates will have 20% of their funds diverted to help pay off the national debt. In the event that the national debt is ever paid off, any extra funds will be used exclusively to fund domestic programs applicable to all 50 states.
