It's pathetic that our citizens aren't averaging a passing grade. How embarrassing is it that our people aren't educated enough to understand some of the most basic fundamentals of science?
Every single American should have the right to pursue not only an education but a GREAT education. What is the point of sending children to school if they are using outdated text books or not having access to tools that will make them want to learn. Or, even worse, are sitting in buildings that are detrimental to learning?
Isn't the most important aspect of our country the citizens and the potential they can bring to strengthening the nation? Educated citizens are the most important infrastructure that we can build and it is slowly deteriorating.
